The Team
Gary Merasty, CEO
Gary Merasty is the CEO of A2SKI Industrial and The Peter Ballantyne Group of Companies (PBGOC), the investment arm for the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation. Previously, he held the role of Chief Development Officer and Executive Vice President for The North West Company, overseeing areas such as Mergers & Acquisitions, Construction and Project Management, ESG Reporting, Government Relations, Communications, and Community Relations. Mr. Merasty also served as the Vice President of Corporate Responsibility for Cameco Mining Corporation and was the Grand Chief of the Prince Albert Grand Council. He has a notable political background, having been elected to Canada’s 39th Parliament as a Member of Parliament. Additionally, Mr. Merasty is actively involved on the board of directors for Bird Construction and has served on various other for-profit and non-profit boards.
